Rebecca Smith Interior Design began ten years ago as an offshoot of Rebecca's design of her own home, her quirky and eclectic style, and her thirty years of interest in and collection of antiques. Friends soon became clients, and clients began asking for advice on how they could also incorporate their new purchases into their homes. Decorating quickly became a passion.

Rebecca is an interior designer of talent and sophistication, using a variety of elements (copper, tin, brick, stucco, wood, slate, tile, stone, iron, tiles, and paint--faux painting/stenciling; and, accessories (pillows, antiques, candles, pottery, artifacts, photo boxes, frames, baskets, plates and personal art) to evolve a creative flair in the home or project.

Rebecca's background and education is broad, covering teaching/training, freelance editing, business ownership, project management, and retail sales. She holds a BS in Education with a concentration in English & Physical Education, an MBA in Business, and an Executive PhD in Project Management. Her love is in the area of organizing and decorating. "Perhaps the most enjoyable task I have is helping clients 'stage' their homes to create a 'magazine look' needed to sell a house."

Contact Rebecca Smith for any of the 4 specific services offered:  Consultation, Room Restyle, Personal Shopper, and Styled to Sell.

The Consultation is a meeting in your home for a joint brainstorming session where yor ideas and your dream room are discussed.  We will walk through your home to see what you love, what you really don't like at all, and what your vision is for the room.  The things you have already accumulated and collected over the years are a reflection of who you are.  Your furnishings and accessories will be used and arranged to help tell your story.

The Room Restyle, typically we use your things to create a completely new look for your room, rearranging furniture, moving pictures and art on the wall and re-accessorizing your bookshelves, mantel and tables.

The Personal Shopper involves adding new elements to your room.  We are happy to go shopping with you or for you for some new accessories.

The Styled to Sell service is for those of you who are 'leaving the neighborhood', a staging, if you will, of your home to make it sell faster.  We can remove clutter and add a few touches to ensure a quick sale for your home.
